Language of Politics and War Discussing Soviet Communism American Capitalism Course Work
Synopsis: The following article consists of a brief study regarding the principles of Soviet Communism and American Capitalism. The research discusses the role of the populace with regards to the above mentioned constitutions. After giving an introduction to both, the paper will further formulate the consistency of the strategies which have been displayed in the pictures/images provided. The study begins with a briefing of ââ¬ËPolitical Warfareââ¬â¢ where the concept of ââ¬ËTotalismââ¬â¢ has also been added to the discussion and an understanding about its influence upon the political manipulations of a nation. Introducing Political Warfare ââ¬ËPolitical Warfareââ¬â¢ is the strategy which is applied upon the opposing nation to retain political benefits without indulging into a direct assault upon the nation. Political warfare deals with manipulating the social economy of the nation into subjugating to the wills and wants of the respective subject using pictures, proclamations and psychological methodologies to obtain oneââ¬â¢s national interests. Hence this stratagem which involves the usage of propaganda serves to break or destroy the social and psychological strains of the populace such the nation will evidently give in to the subjectââ¬â¢s will. Political Warfare has been introduced as an indirect tactic to reinforce political agendas into another nation without opting for a candid intrusion into the constitution of the hostile nation. Hence this psychological approach which has become a substitute for unswerving military action deprives the nation of its economic sanctions thereby influencing not just the government but aggravating the nation from within. Political warfare is a politically planned arrangement which consists of psychological operations that are operated and finalized accordingly with respect to the nationââ¬â¢s political constitutional make up. It aims at altering the hostile nationââ¬â¢s ideologies that favor the political interests of the nation in power without using hesitant and faltered methods that can endanger a nationââ¬â¢s life force. Introducing Soviet Communism and American Capitalism Soviet Communism: The political constitution which was framed by the Soviet Union back in January 1912 by Lenin, Soviet Communism is an agenda which has been brought forward by the Communist Part of Soviet Union. Proclaimed to have led the Revolution of October 1917, Soviet Communism was the governmental charter that dissolved in 1991 after the Soviet Union collapsed however there are still prevalent regions in Russia which consists of Communist parties leading like the ââ¬ËCommunist Workers Party of Russiaââ¬â¢. Principle of Soviet Communism: It comprises of a single authoritarian which controlled the Soviet Union where the economic system held no distinction between classes. The governmental principle stated that the economic benefits would be shared by all hence obtaining equivalent ownership of goods such that the social order can be maintained growth prospers within the nation. The Communist Society: The Soviet Communism consisted of a classless society which did not indulge in annexation of land and property from the residents less fortunate than themselves. Hence this political regime which was initiated in the Soviet Union where the society could claim property equally such that a common ownership right could be established was the fundamental concept behind commencing a communist populace. The public were simply fractions of a communist country where the culture of communism was sowed such that the benefits of shares and profits could be attained by all the individuals involved. It made the society free of exploitations and financial manipulations. The communist populace contributed by spreading the ideology amongst other localities. Here the sovereignty of chattels and assets could be protected and preserved from voracious hands. Role of Populace: The interests of the communist state came before the statesmen hence the communist citizens were expected to work accordingly such that the country would benefit respectively with successive participation of the communist society. The individuals were expected to work for the country where exploitation, corruption, slacking of work was not exonerated. American Capitalism: American Capitalism came into being around the 1900ââ¬â¢s where the basic foundation of this economic doctrine consisted of safeguarding the privatization of property and initiate adequate productivity to obtain maximum investment. Principle of American Capitalism: American Capitalism is another political administration which consisted of an economic system where private ownership rights for property and commodities were permitted as compared to Communism where the ownership is collectively shared by all. The introduction of banks was a part of American capitalism expansion where organization of the commercial funds obtained needed to be secure and sustained. The labor was divided such that the work could be organized, progressive and fastidious such that the accumulation of profits earned by private owners could be facilitated and manageable. The American Capitalist Society American Capitalism has been explained using three major contexts where the ownership rights can be signified accordingly: Markets: American Capitalism aimed at producing goods which could be sold outside or traded outside rather than the goods being manufactured for personal gains. Instead of the goods being directly consumed by the people, they were being sold outside which inevitably caused the nation to starve with deprivation of necessities. Private Ownership: Individuals could own their respective foundations without having a public/governmental authority controlling their market shares and incomes. The investment attained from the establishments belonged to the owners of the enterprises who maintained the right to market not just goods but sell properties as well in exchange for another property or profits. Hiring Labor: Another asset of American Capitalism consisted of entrepreneurs hiring labor force for their specific commercial agendas. Hence these employees who arenââ¬â¢t the owners or shareholders of the company were given an allowance for the work they submitted in the company. Role of Populace: The American Revolution resulted in inventing a capitalist economy where 65% of the labor force consisted of self employed farmers who had legal and private ownerships of their respective properties. Another part consisted of labor force being hired by land lords whoââ¬â¢d earn their revenues from the profits that were divided amongst the workers and the title holders. Once slavery was abolished, a new era of commerce began where ex-slaves became sharecroppers and operated firms which were privatized and expanded commercially to large extents. By the 20th century, USA became a full grown capitalist country where 8-12% of the labor force became self employed and self sufficient. Independent foundations were being constructed where proprietors maintained their stand against competition in the commercial market. The Fundamentals behind ââ¬ËTotalismââ¬â¢ ââ¬ËTotalismââ¬â¢ is the psychological tool which is one of the basic principles of political warfare introduced by psychiatrist Robert Jay Lifton. With respect to political dominion, ââ¬ËTotalismââ¬â¢ is the technique of brainwashing the audience using eight distinct forms of thought reforms which are considered highly effective in political warfare. Originally introduced in China, the art of mind control consists of a series of modus operandi which must be encrypted in such a manner that the thought processes of the individuals can be modified or altered respectively. Eight Criterions of Thought Transformation: Milieu Control Mystical Manipulation Demand for Purity Confession Sacred Science Loading the Language Doctrine Over Person Dispensing Existence A major example can be given of one of the processes: Using ââ¬ËSacred Scienceââ¬â¢ If youââ¬â¢ve heard recently about the book published by Dan Brown with regards to the ââ¬ËPriory of Sionââ¬â¢ where the cult which consisted of famous science discoverers and researchers waged a politically historic war against the ââ¬ËOpus Dieââ¬â¢ whoââ¬â¢re known for encrypting ââ¬ËTotalismââ¬â¢ as a means of establishing followers who believe in only one God and the sacredness of a single entity which formed human kind. The principle behind ââ¬ËSacred Scienceââ¬â¢ is that a single belief is held, accepted and spread to its followers who cannot go against the dogma of their science. Hence the belief which is respected within the cult is considered morally and scientifically true. The thought reforms of Opus Dei are based upon similar context where they believe that science is unrealistic and that the only science which exists is the science of ââ¬ËGodââ¬â¢. Thus these extremist views which are harbored by the members and inculcated within the members where the interpretation of ââ¬ËGodââ¬â¢ is absolutely sacred. Hence theyââ¬â¢re basically supposed to follow their spiritual directorââ¬â¢s thought reform of ââ¬ËSacred Scienceââ¬â¢. Consistency of the Concepts The political agendas of a country can be meddled with by using psychological concepts which have proven to be more effective than a direct approach of combat. Weââ¬â¢ve realized that the ideology behind portraying pictures of ââ¬ËSoviet Communismââ¬â¢ and ââ¬ËAmerican Capitalismââ¬â¢ both have had their respective results hence the photographs clearly proclaims the instigation of their influence upon the masses. Conclusion The language of politics and war certainly has a mind of its own. From the many concepts that have been released in the past and implemented, all have their specific means of authorizing the residents of a nation. ââ¬ËTotalismââ¬â¢ used by a cult is the basic perception of seizing the thought processes of an individual. By dwindling the mind and ultimately achieving the final stage of submission where the individual is compelled to relate himself with the ideologies of the cult.

And again, we come up with nothing. So thereââ¬â¢s no meaning of life, that doesnââ¬â¢t mean we canââ¬â¢t give it purpose. Human kindââ¬â¢s biggest fault is that we need purpose. Every time you ask someone ââ¬Ëwhyââ¬â¢ he or she is doing something or ââ¬Ëwhyââ¬â¢ they even care, it is because you need that sense of purpose, and without it its hard to maintain sanity. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle depicted this through his famous series of short stories revolving around Detective Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock, the main protagonist, and Professor James Moriarty, one of the main antagonists, were both incredibly brilliant and lived with the understanding that life held no predetermined purpose. Sherlock created his own purpose in solving mysteries, whereas Moriarty failed to create a solid purpose and would be said to have gone ââ¬Å"insaneâ⬠. As a teenager, my purpose changes day to day. Using that statement many conclude happiness to be the meaning of life. Therefore, you live to be happy, but happiness is a way of life. Happiness is predetermined in the sense that you live, so why not be happy? It is very common, though, to create a purpose out of happiness. Buddhists, live not to be happy, but to be at peace, therefore being at peace is their way of life. Though, they too have the power to create purpose out of that. Happiness is predetermined in the sense that you live, so why not be happy? It is very common, though, to create a purpose out of happiness. Buddhists, live not to be happy, but to be at peace, therefore being at peace is their way of life. Though, they too have the power to create purpose out of that. UML Diagram Of Shapes - Rectangle And Square
Questions: Code ComprehensionA Sample program is provided that creates a list of shapes stored in an array. This program uses classes: Shapes, Square, Rectangle and ShapesList. The main method is in the class: TestingShapesListClass. Conduct a careful examination of this code. Make sure you understand this code as it will help you with your own programming for this assignment. Using the uncommented sample code for classes: Shapes, Square, Rectangle and ShapesList provided, answer the following questions:1. Draw a UML diagram of each of the Shapes, Rectangle and Square classes using the code that has been provided. Complete this using the examples that have been provide in the lecture slides. 2. Draw a UML diagram of the ShapesList class using the code that has been provided. Complete this using the examples that have been provide in the lecture slides. 3. Add appropriate comments, in your own words, into the file: ShapesList.java to explain all the methods. At a mimimum, explain the purpose of each method. For the more complex methods - reading input from a file, sorting the data and exporting data to the file - insert comments to explain the code. 4. Explain the line of code: output = new BufferedWriter(new FileWriter(file)) ; in the ExportToFile method in ShapesList.java . 5. Briefly explain the code in mySort() in the ShapesList class. What attribute are the shapes being sorted by? 6. Name the sort algorithm that is being used. Explain in words how it works, using an example. Why do we need to use two for loops? 7. Briefly name and describe one other sorting algorithm that could have been used. 8. Explain the use of the return value in the getArea() method in the Rectangle class. What is it returning? Where does the value come from? 9. Examine the lines to open the output file and write the outputString in the ShapesList class: File file = new File(export.txt); System.out.println(file.getAbsolutePath());output = new BufferedWriter(new FileWriter(file)); output.write(ou tputString);Where is the output file located? Find BufferedWriter in the Java API documentation and describe the use of this object.10. Briefly explain why a try and catch clause has been included in the code to read from the file. Remove this from the code and remove the input file and take note of the error. Re-add the line and investigate what happens if the input file is not present. Answers: Code Comprehension 1. UML Diagram of Shapes, Rectangle and SquareShapes ClassShapes- name: String- colour: String- Xcoord: double- Ycoord: double~ Shapes() ~ Shapes(initName:String, initColour:String, initXcoord:double, initYcoord:double) + setName(newName:String)+ setXcoord(newXcoord:double):boolean+ setYcoord(newYcoord:double):boolean+ setColour(String newColour)+ getXcoord():double+ getYcoord():double+ getName():String+ getColour():String+ getArea():doubleRectangle ClassRectangle- side: double~ Rectangle()~ Rectangle(initLength:double, initWidth:double, initName:String, initColour:String, xCoord:double, yCoord:double) + setLength(_length:double):boolean+ setWidth(_width:double):boolean+ getWidth():double+ getLength():double+ calcArea():double+ getArea():double+ toString():StringSquare ClassSquare- side: double~ Square()~ Square(initside:double, initName:String, initColour:String, xCoord:double, yCoord:double) + setSide(newSide:double)+ calcArea():double+ getArea():double+ toString():String2. UML dia gram of ShapesList classShapesList ClassShapesList- MAXSIZE: int- myList[]:Shapes- currsize:int~ ShapesList ()~ ShapesList (_maxsize:int) + void addShape(_newShape:Shapes)+ toString():String+ bubbleSort()+ exportToFile(outputString:String)+ readFromFile()3. I commented in the ShapeList.java file.a) addShape() method is used to add shapes in list. It adds the shapes till MAXSIZE which is 10.b) toString() method is for return the information of class.c) bubbleSort() method is for sort the shapes based on area of shape. The sorting is based on bubble sort.d) exportToFile() method is for write the data in text filee) readFromFile() method is for read the data from text file4. The file object contains the export.txt file. The BufferedWriter class writes text to a character-output stream. The object of this class helps to write the data in output file.5. Attribute used of sorting: Ycoord of shape Explanation of sorting algorithm by pseudo code:pseudo code for sort:for index1 in range(len(sList) -1):for index2 in range (len(sList) - (index1 + 1)):if (sList[index2] sList[index2 + 1]):swapListPositions (sList, index2, index2 + 1)6. Sorting Algorithm: Bubble SortThis algorithm used two loops to compare element with other elements of array for sorting. The inner loop works currsize-1 times. The process of inner loop varies 0 to (size of array (index of upper loop + 1)).7. The Selection sort is another algorithm which could be used for sorting.8. The getArea() method is returning the area of rectangle. The value of rectangle area comes from calcArea() method which is in same class. 9. Absolute path:C:UsersDocumentsworkspaceshape codeexport.txtThe output file is located in c drive.BufferedWriter class writes text to a character-output stream. The object of this class helps to write the data in output file.10. The try-catch is used to catch the exception if it occurs while read the data from file.Error after removing try-catch and file:Unhandled exception type FileNotFoundException Error after removing only file:java.io.FileNotFoundException: ShapesFile.txt (The system cannot find the file specified)

Tips for Writing Argumentative Essays
Tips for Writing Argumentative EssaysThe idea behind the implementation of an argumentative essay is to use a series of outline for the thesis statement in order to help you finish off your essay. The problem comes when you actually take the time to write the arguments. There are a number of essay conclusion sample that is often overlooked as well as several different ways to finish your conclusion. The key thing to remember about completing a conclusion to your essay is that it has to be convincing. You will want to convince the reader why they should agree with your argument or you will lose their attention. This means that you have to make sure that you present a clear and concise argument that holds up to scrutiny. Once you do this, the essay conclusion may actually become one of the strongest parts of your entire argument. However, there are a few things you can do to ensure that your conclusion is better than the average conclusion. The first thing you should be aware of is that the basic way to make your conclusion better is to make it shorter. This is easy enough to accomplish. If you aren't all that fond of a long essay, then try taking out all of the supporting detail that is contained within your argument. Instead, focus on stating your position in plain and simple terms. Remember, your essay is supposed to be an honest presentation of facts.Something else you can do to make your conclusion better is to organize your argument as a series of questions. This will allow you to always be thinking about your conclusion rather than just writing a conclusion at any point in time. However, if you aren't inclined to use questions, then try to come up with questions that you want to ask yourself before you answer your conclusion. Finally, you should never try to force your conclusion to be perfect. In fact, you should be content with the fact that the conclusion is your final judgment on the subject matter. After all, the purpose of the essay is to evaluate your thoughts in this particular manner. As long as you are careful to not censor your ideas, then you shouldn't even be too concerned about the quality of your conclusion.Regardless of how you organize your paper, it is important that you read the paper out loud after you have written it. You should listen to yourself to be sure that you don't make any grammatical errors. These will show up in your essay regardless of how you write them. You should also make sure that you don't rush your thoughts to the conclusion. The final component of writing an essay conclusion is to remember that there is an essay thesis statement as well. You should have a good knowledge of your thesis statement as it will be required in some of your arguments throughout the remainder of the paper. Therefore, it is very important that you structure your essay as if your thesis statement will not be used.Remember, it is not uncommon for a person to not always have a firm understanding of how to finish their essay. B y following the three steps above, you will be able to finish your essays in the most successful manner possible.
